Password Self-Service allows you to manage your password and other credentials and reset your password even if you have forgotten it. Most password problems can now be solved without calling the ITS HelpDesk.
Password Self-service works on the principle that if you know two credentials you can change the third. To change your password, you will be asked for your username, and required to answer security questions you define.How do I get Started?
You must first login and setup your challenges and responses.
The responses are chosen by you and should refer to something only you know. For example, the question might be "What is my favorite color?" and the answer could be "periwinkle". The challenge and response should be chosen carefully and should not be easy to guess. The secret challenge and response are used only for resetting your password.
